Friday Botany Trips. Meet at the Parkinson Recreation Centre parking lot, southeast corner, nearest to Harvey and Spall, at 9:15 a.m. (departure 9:30 a.m.) Bring a lunch. Contact Peter Green at 765-1737 for details of the next trip.

MeetingsMembership Meetings: These are held monthly (except for July and August) on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, September to June, at 7:30 p.m. at Evangel Church, 3261 Gordon Street, just south of KLO Road, Kelowna. The format of the meetings is a short business meeting, followed by a guest speaker and time to socialize.

Our aim is to promote natural history ideas and
concepts within the community.

CONC is compiling information about hikes in the Central Okanagan area and they wish to eventually publish a guide for hikers. CONC also puts on information displays in the community. Young Naturalists ClubThe Young Naturalists' Club inspires a lifelong interest in nature and encourages children, ages 5 to 14, to become environmental stewards. It also encourages and assists young people to develop skills in observing and studying nature through nature programs and environmental activities. The Club meets twice monthly on Sundays at 1:15 p.m. at the EECO Centre, Mission Creek Regional Park.
